About the position

As a DevOps Engineer at INVESTALL INC, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and managing infrastructure as code (IaC) for our highly scalable and available enterprise and retail trading applications hosted on AWS. Your expertise will be essential in utilizing tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation to automate the provisioning, configuration, and deployment of infrastructure resources. You will be responsible for designing and implementing robust Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines that ensure seamless integration and delivery of software updates. In this position, you will leverage your skills in Docker and Kubernetes to manage containerized applications, ensuring they are efficiently deployed and maintained. Your proficiency in Git will be vital for version control, while your knowledge of Python and Bash/Scripting will aid in automating various processes. You will also work with Linux/Unix environments and utilize SQL for database queries, which will be critical for managing data effectively. Your role will involve implementing branching and merging strategies, overseeing release management, and conducting performance analysis using optimization tools and methodologies. You will be tasked with capacity planning and cost optimization to ensure that our resources are utilized effectively. Additionally, you will implement audit controls and traceability measures to maintain compliance and enhance the reliability of our systems.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum of 12 months of experience in a DevOps role.
• Proficiency in AWS services and infrastructure management.
• Experience with Terraform and CloudFormation for IaC.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipeline design and implementation.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• Proficient in Git for version control.
• Experience with Python and Bash/Scripting for automation.
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems.
• Experience with SQL and database management.
