About the position

The DevOps Engineer role focuses on enhancing the CI/CD processes and methodologies within a financial services organization. This position requires a blend of development experience and hands-on expertise in automation tools, cloud services, and collaboration with business and technology partners to deliver effective solutions using Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on experience with DevOps CI/CD processes and methodologies.
• Development experience in Java, Python, and other languages.
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins and Groovy scripting.
• Experience with Atlassian tools such as Jira, Bitbucket, and Confluence.
• Experience with on-prem cloud and AWS services.
• Participate in on-call rotation for support responsibilities.
• Utilize AWS services including Cloud Formation Templates, S3, EC2, and EKS.
• Collaborate with business and technology partners to develop features using an Agile approach.
• Drive the technical strategy and vision for the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required.
• 5 - 7+ years of experience in Python and Shell Scripting.
• 5+ years of proven ability in Enterprise Architecture and/or Platform Architecture for a financial services organization.
• 5+ years of AWS Cloud experience with services such as EC2, S3, EKS, RDS, Mongo, EMR, Lambda, Snowflake, SNS, SQS.
• 5+ years of experience in large-scale digital transformation and AWS Cloud migration across multiple technology areas.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in solution, data, and architecture applied to large-scale enterprise systems.
