About the position

As a DevOps Engineer III at Net Health, you will play a crucial role in analyzing, designing, and evaluating automation scripts and systems. Your primary responsibility will be to integrate infrastructure builds with application deployment processes, ensuring that our applications are highly scalable and efficient. You will be tasked with researching new technologies that can enhance our operational efficiency and effectiveness. Utilizing engineering principles, you will create software that supports the company's various applications, including materials management, financial management, and HRIS. This role involves a comprehensive understanding of the software development life cycle, where you will connect client needs with applicable technology solutions. Additionally, you may be responsible for testing and documentation, ensuring that all system improvements are successfully implemented and monitored to increase efficiency. In this position, you will lead DevOps requirements analysis, ensuring that systems meet business requirements and goals while fulfilling end-user needs. You will review and analyze existing operations for effectiveness and efficiency, developing strategies to improve or leverage these systems. A key part of your role will be to cultivate and disseminate knowledge of system-usage best practices, ensuring that all processes within DevOps are properly documented and that cross-training is in place where applicable. As a technical leader, you will have supervisory responsibility for coordinating personnel and prioritizing work for the DevOps team, making this a pivotal role in our organization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead in DevOps requirements analysis.
  • Ensure that systems meet business requirements and systems goals, fulfill end-user requirements, and identify and resolve systems issues.
  • Review and analyze existing operations effectiveness and efficiency, and then develop strategies for improving or leveraging these systems.
  • Cultivate and disseminate knowledge of system-usage best practices.
  • Ensure that all processes within DevOps are properly documented and cross training is in place where applicable.
  • Act as a technical leader with supervisory responsibility for overall personnel coordination and work prioritization for the DevOps team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 4+ years of relevant experience; may have degree or equivalent.
  • Experience with IIS.
  • Proficiency in Powershell.
