About the position

The DevOps Engineer position focuses on Kubernetes administration and is a fully remote contracting role. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Kubernetes and related technologies, capable of stepping in to manage and improve existing systems with minimal supervision. The role emphasizes taking on technical debt and enhancing operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Administer Kubernetes EKS environments.
• Deploy applications using Helm and Helm charts.
• Utilize Argo CD for deployment processes.
• Manage and improve existing DevOps practices with minimal guidance.
• Collaborate with team members through video calls during the interview process.

Requirements

• Strong experience in Kubernetes administration.
• Proficiency with Helm and Helm charts.
• Familiarity with Argo CD deployment technology.
• Experience with AWS CDK, Terraform, Python, GitLab, and MySQL/PostgreSQL.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Crossplane.
• Familiarity with Artifactory.
