About the position

As a DevOps Engineer at Booz Allen, you will play a crucial role in developing, managing, and securing a container platform tailored to meet client needs while leveraging cloud capabilities. Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage container management software to meet client needs.
  • Support the development of critical cloud platforms.
  • Ensure standards are met throughout the containerization process.
  • Recommend resources for clients to manage and securely adopt containers.
  • Collaborate with application development teams to create solutions to complex problems.
  • Utilize technical skills to drive DevOps or DevSecOps maturity by automating builds, regression testing, and monitoring.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with DevOps or DevSecOps processes.
  • Experience with AWS services and infrastructure as code (IaC) platforms.
  • Proficiency in containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
  • Knowledge of network and server infrastructure monitoring and management.
  • Experience with Linux systems administration, including scripting and automation.
  • Bachelor's degree and 1+ years of experience with DevOps, or 8+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with developing enterprise cloud-native solutions in Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Jenkins, or Azure.
  • Experience with continuous automation across multiple technical stacks.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages, including Python or Linux Shell Script.
  • Master's degree.
