About the position

The DevOps Engineer position focuses on programmatic infrastructure management and requires a strong background in operations and platform development. The role involves deploying and managing systems, automating processes, and ensuring the smooth operation of cloud technologies.

Responsibilities

• Programmatic infrastructure management
• Deployment and management of systems using tools like Ansible, Puppet, and Chef
• Automation and virtualization of cloud platforms such as VMware/OpenStack and AWS
• Scripting for automation using Python
• Managing production environments with load balancers
• Defining, implementing, and monitoring IT services
• Building and replacing system hardware
• Performing software upgrades and deployments

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or platform developer
• Strong operations background with a focus on process or MOPS
• Proficient in Linux, particularly CentOS RPM
• Experience with automation tools like Ansible, Puppet, Chef, and Shocker
• Familiarity with cloud technologies such as Apache and Kafka
• Experience with Kubernetes, Jenkins, and Git
• Strong understanding of Unix/Linux environments and scripting (bash, Python)
• Proven experience in network troubleshooting and configuration
• Experience with server hardware and software troubleshooting
