About the position

Cognosante is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team in Falls Church, Virginia. This position plays a crucial role in supporting the Military OneSource Program, which provides essential services to military members and their families. The Senior DevOps Engineer will introduce processes, tools, and methodologies that balance program needs throughout the software development life cycle. This includes coding, deployment, maintenance, and updates for the Military OneSource restricted web presence, secondary data systems, and the integration of various applications such as resiliency applications, childcare solutions, and outreach fulfillment interfaces. In this role, you will collaborate closely with developers, system administrators, and other stakeholders to ensure the seamless integration of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. You will facilitate efficient development workflows and reliable software deployments, automate infrastructure provisioning, manage configuration drift, and implement monitoring and logging solutions specific to AEM environments. Your contributions will directly impact the quality and efficiency of the services provided to military families, making a significant difference in their lives. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • US Citizen and fluent English speaker
  • Must possess current, active, DoD Secret security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree with 10 years of experience in agile software/systems development (additional 4 years of work experience may be considered in lieu of Bachelor's degree)
  • Solid working knowledge of standard computer software (Microsoft Office business suite to include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project)
