About the position

Leidos is seeking DevOps Engineers to support the U.S. Air Force Cloud One Architecture and Common Shared Services contract. This role involves modernizing a multi-cloud environment across AWS, Azure, Google, and Oracle clouds, focusing on system resiliency, security, and cost-effectiveness. The positions are hybrid remote, with a preference for candidates near specific Air Force bases.

Responsibilities

• Implement DevOps capabilities, processes, and tools for various cloud platforms.
• Provide optimization and automation across multiple platforms and applications.
• Develop, execute, and troubleshoot automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Drive consistency for deployment and build processes.
• Develop strategy and integration methodology for cloud-based solutions.
• Enable quick development and release of changes and bug-fixes based on feedback.
• Prepare detailed technical documentation to support development and operational processes.
• Collaborate with team members and mentor junior staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and two years of experience, or a Master's degree with no experience; additional experience may substitute for a degree.
• Interim Secret clearance required to start; ability to obtain Secret clearance required to maintain employment.
• Certifications: CompTIA Security+ or equivalent (IAT-2).

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with USAF Cloud One or Platform 1.
• Experience with Zero Trust Architecture.
• Cloud certifications in AWS, Azure, Google, or Oracle clouds.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps principles and practices.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and/or Kanban.
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline tools.
