About the position

Leidos is seeking candidates for various levels of positions in support of the U.S. Air Force Cloud One Architecture and Common Shared Services contract. This role involves modernizing a global-scale multi-cloud environment, focusing on system resiliency, security, and cost-effectiveness. The positions are hybrid remote, with a preference for candidates located near specific Air Force bases.

Responsibilities

• Implement DevOps capabilities, processes, and tools for various cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and Oracle Cloud.
• Provide optimization and automation across multiple platforms and applications.
• Develop, execute, and troubleshoot automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Drive consistency for deployment and build processes.
• Develop strategy and integration methodology for cloud-based solutions.
• Enable quick development and release of changes and bug-fixes based on feedback from developers/users.
• Prepare detailed technical documentation to support development and operational processes.
• Collaborate with team members and mentor junior staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and two years of experience, or a Master's degree with no experience; additional experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
• Interim Secret clearance required to start; ability to obtain Secret clearance required to maintain employment.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Certifications: CompTIA Security+ or equivalent (IAT-2).

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with USAF Cloud One or Platform 1.
• Experience with Zero Trust Architecture.
• Cloud certifications in AWS, Azure, Google, or Oracle clouds.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps principles and practices.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and/or Kanban.
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline tools.
