About the position

The DevOps Engineer will play a crucial role in interpreting technical specifications and developing software solutions to address business challenges. This position involves maintaining software, correcting defects, and ensuring the quality and performance of software products in a fast-paced environment. The engineer will also lead CI/CD initiatives and mentor team members to drive product development and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Interpret written requirements and technical specifications for software solutions.
• Develop software based on technical specifications.
• Analyze and investigate problems with software solutions reported by clients.
• Document the results of investigations into software issues.
• Perform maintenance of software and correct identified defects.
• Run unit tests on created software and implement test plans.
• Investigate and suggest solutions to defects detected during testing.
• Provide technical guidance in CI/CD initiatives to multiple tech teams.
• Drive Agile-based product development supporting organizational priorities.
• Mentor team members to ensure project success.
• Lead daily ceremonies and platform discussions for stories on JIRA and Kanban boards.
• Collaborate with development, product owners, and team members to design features and prioritize tasks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar field.
• Minimum of 5 years of solid CI/CD experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of team leadership experience.
• 5 years of experience with cloud-based technologies (Pivotal Cloud Foundry or AWS).
• 5 years of experience in leading data innovation and technology functions in the context of data as a product.
• Minimum of 3 years working in the Banking/Payments area.
