About the position

The Dev Ops Engineer at Schneider Electric will be part of an Agile team focused on deploying Azure-based solutions for utility industry customers. This role involves collaboration with engineers, scrum masters, and product owners to develop and deploy cloud-hosted applications using micro-services in the Microsoft Azure cloud. The position emphasizes support for cloud and enterprise deployment, troubleshooting network configurations, and ensuring the reliable operation of cloud-based services.

Responsibilities

  • Support cloud and enterprise deployment of software products and components.
  • Analyze, diagnose, and troubleshoot network configuration and cloud connectivity.
  • Contribute to best practices for cloud and enterprise software deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Perform routine monitoring and support of cloud-based services infrastructure to ensure reliable operation.
  • Develop and utilize automated deployment and monitoring tools and scripts.

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technologies, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with computer emphasis.
  • Knowledge of network protocols and the TCP/IP stack.
  • Understanding of network security concepts such as SSL, TLS, PKI.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Azure cloud services.
