As a CRP Shipping Associate on the 3rd shift at Cummins, you will play a crucial role in the logistics and warehousing operations of our facility. This position involves following established procedures and guidelines to efficiently receive, handle, store, and dispatch goods within a factory or warehouse environment. You will be responsible for receiving incoming goods, checking for any damage, and ensuring that there are no discrepancies between the goods received and the accompanying invoices. Your attention to detail will be essential as you accurately sort, label, and store goods, optimizing warehouse space for maximum efficiency. In addition to receiving goods, you will also be tasked with maintaining a clean and orderly work area. This includes performing routine housekeeping tasks and machine cleaning, as well as executing planned operator care and maintenance tasks. Your role will also involve picking, packing, and dispatching outgoing goods based on written or verbal requests or orders. Flexibility is key in this position, as you may be required to perform other miscellaneous duties to meet business goals. Compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards, policies, procedures, and regulations is a critical aspect of your responsibilities.
