About the position

The DevOps Engineer at UniVOD, LLC will collaborate with software engineers to interpret requirements and design scalable architectures for Over the Top (OTT) video streaming infrastructure. The role focuses on ensuring high availability and resilience of the systems, building and maintaining Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, and supporting the uptime of production systems, including emergency rotations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with software engineers to interpret requirements and design scalable architectures.
• Ensure high availability and resilience for OTT video streaming infrastructure.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines that promote best practices for software delivery.
• Support uptime of production systems and participate in emergency rotations.
• Make strategic decisions on infrastructure and technology choices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 2 years of experience in the occupation or as a system engineer.
• Fluency in written and spoken Spanish.
• Proficiency in Serverless, Docker, and Kubernetes container orchestration technologies.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP networking layers.
• Familiarity with Domain Name System (DNS) and Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) technologies.
• Experience managing cloud platforms including Google Cloud and AWS.
