About the position

360Value is seeking dynamic and creative DevOps engineers to join our small, growing team responsible for developing and maintaining innovative solutions in the property insurance industry. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to build scalable infrastructure for web applications, managing continuous integration pipelines, and ensuring the stability of production environments.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with a cross-functional team to build dynamic, fault-tolerant, and scalable infrastructure for web applications.
• Administer and build complex Development Continuous Integration pipelines, design build plans, and assist developers with failures.
• Manage software configurations and ensure successful end-to-end deployments in an automated fashion.
• Provide direction to developers regarding server troubleshooting and application errors due to environmental issues.
• Debug production outages and take actions based on root cause analysis.
• Monitor the production environment to maintain system stability and performance.
• Continuously improve the Continuous Deployment pipelines, including automated testing.
• Install, configure, and administer workstation software, including editors and development servers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field required.
• 7+ years of proven experience with Linux Administration.
• 5+ years of experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) including EC2, S3, CloudFormation, CLI, Lambda, ALB, Troposphere, k8s, RDS, PostgreSQL, Aurora.
• Deep knowledge of multiple monitoring tools and data mining techniques.
• Proficient in Bash, Python, XML, and web concepts such as REST APIs and SPA.
• Demonstrated mastery of development tools and methodologies, including firewall concepts and network connectivity.
• Deep experience with Continuous Integration/Deployment Technologies such as Concourse, CodeBuild, Git, Maven, Docker.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Apache Tomcat
• Experience with Angular
• Knowledge of relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL)
• Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, Amazon DynamoDB)
• Familiarity with Jira and Bitbucket
