About the position

The DevOps Engineer role involves consulting on complex software engineering initiatives with a broad impact, focusing on deployment for CI/CD methodologies. The position requires collaboration with client personnel and the ability to analyze and resolve multifaceted software engineering challenges. This is a hybrid position, requiring three days onsite and two days of work from home.

Responsibilities

• Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering.
• Review and analyze complex multi-faceted larger scale or longer-term Software Engineering challenges.
• Contribute to the resolution of complex situations requiring a solid understanding of function policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.

Requirements

• 5 years of Software Engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through work, consulting experience, training, military experience, or education.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD methodologies and deployment processes.
• Experience with Oracle and SQL.
• Background in cloud technologies, specifically PCF and Azure Cloud.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
• Proficiency in tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, UCD, Harness, Artifactory, Jira, and ServiceNow.
• Experience with both Linux and Windows environments.
