About the position

As a DevOps Engineer at Hitachi Digital Services, you will be instrumental in building, automating, and optimizing our infrastructure. This role emphasizes the development of CI/CD pipelines, automation scripts, and the implementation of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices. You will work closely with development and operations teams to enhance efficiency and support the deployment of innovative applications, including Generative AI platforms. Your contributions will directly impact operational processes and drive efficiency within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines.
• Create automation scripts using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
• Implement Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.
• Analyze operational performance metrics and identify optimization opportunities.
• Support the deployment of Generative AI application platforms.
• Document processes, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and knowledge management practices.

Requirements

• Experience with CI/CD pipeline development and management.
• Proficiency in automation tools and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Strong understanding of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles.
• Ability to analyze and optimize incidents, problems, and alerts.
• Excellent documentation skills for SOPs, processes, and knowledge management.
• Experience with monitoring and performance analysis tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
