Responsibilities

  • Streamline the software development lifecycle from requirements to monitoring in production.
  • Incorporate open-source tools, automation, and cloud resources to enhance efficiency.
  • Implement continuous integration and delivery to reduce manual testing and troubleshooting.
  • Develop critical tools and ensure they are accessible to those who need them.
  • Collaborate with the team to create software solutions that have a mission-forward impact.

Requirements

  • Experience in IT systems development.
  • Experience in the development of tools and processes to drive DevOps or DevSecOps maturity by automating builds, regression testing, monitoring, and pushing releases across environments using tools, including Jenkins or Harness CI/CD.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as code, including Cloud Formation, Terraform, and Ansible.
  • Experience with containers, including Docker, and container orchestration, including Kubernetes.
  • Experience with delivering DevSecOps solutions in cloud-based environments, including AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with developing enterprise cloud-native solutions.
  • Experience with creating and improving continuous automation across multiple technical stacks.
  • Experience with leading teams of DevSecOps Engineers and Platform Engineers.
  • Experience with site reliability engineering-related skills, including working with an observability stack.
  • Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Certification, AWS Solution Architect Professional Certification, Google Cloud Architect Certification, or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Certification.
