About the position

The DevOps Engineer will serve as the expert in DevOps tools and practices, guiding the adoption of Agile methodologies within the existing program culture. This role requires a creative problem solver who can interface with users and customers, work independently in a team environment, and adhere to strict integration processes defined by the customer.

Responsibilities

• Act as the DevOps tool and practices expert
• Guide the continued adoption of Agile practices
• Provide a creative approach to problem solving
• Interface with and provide support to users and customers
• Work independently in a team environment
• Adhere to rigid customer defined integration processes

Requirements

• Experience in scripting languages (i.e. python, bash)
• Experience of working in an Agile/SCRUM/DevOps delivery model
• Experience with Ansible, Packer, Terraform, Hashicorp Vault, Jenkins, Artifactory
• Experience with software versioning, GIT
• An active and in-scope U.S. TS/SCI security clearance with C.I. polygraph

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in an operations and maintenance environment
• Ability to act calmly and logically under stressful situations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
