About the position

The DevOps Engineer role at Insight Global involves designing, implementing, and managing CI/CD pipelines to automate the software delivery process. The position requires maintaining and optimizing cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS), as well as developing containerization solutions using Docker. The engineer will collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of new features while monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues to ensure high availability and reliability.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate the software delivery process.
  • Maintain and optimize our cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Develop and manage containerization solutions using Docker.
  • Oversee database management and ensure data integrity and security.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of new features.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
  • Implement best practices for infrastructure as code and configuration management.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Expertise in CI/CD processes and automation tools.
  • Proficiency with Docker and container orchestration.
  • Experience with database management and optimization.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with other cloud platforms and technologies.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Bash.

  • Experience in the gaming industry or a passion for gaming.
