About the position

The DevOps Engineer role focuses on building and maintaining AWS infrastructure while automating processes using various tools and technologies. The position requires expertise in cloud services, CI/CD processes, and application deployment, ensuring efficient and reliable operations within the development and production environments.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain AWS infrastructure including VPC, EC2, Security Groups, IAM, ECS, EKS, Cloud Front, S3, API Gateway, RDS, EFS, and CloudWatch.
• Automate infrastructure deployment using tools like Ansible, Terraform, Packer, SAM, CDK, and Cloud Formation.
• Deploy applications using JBoss EAP, Tomcat, and Apache HTTP server.
• Utilize Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration and application deployment on AWS.
• Implement CI/CD processes using Jenkins and Groovy scripting.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of applications.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in building and maintaining AWS infrastructure.
• Proficient in using SVN, GIT, Nexus, Jenkins, and Veracode.
• Expertise in automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Packer, SAM, CDK, and Cloud Formation.
• Experience with deploying JBoss EAP, Tomcat, and Apache HTTP server.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub, Jenkins, and ELK stack.
• Experience with CI/CD processes using Jenkins and Groovy scripting.
• Knowledge of NodeJS and Python is a plus.
• Experience with Spring, Spring Boot, and SOA.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Angular or similar technologies.
• AWS Certification.
