About the position

The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for managing, developing, and improving tools that enhance Development Operations. This role involves integrating IT with various teams to ensure timely product delivery, focusing on automation and system health monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Integrate and build automation tools for the software development lifecycle (deployment, monitoring, and operations)
• Manage and re-provision Development/Test Environments and maintain patches and operating system health
• Maintain and administrate the automated Software Development Life Cycle with CI tools and GitLab integration for continuous build, test, and deployment
• Manage and integrate interoperability of DevOps systems including GitLab, JIRA, and TeamCity
• Research, evaluate, and improve the DevOps toolchain to automate and streamline operations and processes
• Monitor system healthiness with various tools and respond to alerts.

Requirements

• 2+ years of knowledge in automation and continuous integration
• 1+ years of experience in setting up CI/CD pipelines
• 2+ years of experience managing performance, availability, and scale for mid to large sized systems
• 2+ years of experience in Source Control Management
• 1+ years of experience with iterative/agile methodologies (e.g. SCRUM, XP)
• 2+ years of experience with Kubernetes
• 2+ years of experience with Docker
• Proficiency in GitLab and Git Clients
• Experience with Windows Active Directory (2012+) in an Office 365 environment
• Knowledge of SQL Server (2012+) administration

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO, CA
• Experience with Power BI or equivalent
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure Insights
• Knowledge of SQL Databases, App Insights, Stream Analytics, and Machine Learning
• Experience with VMware vSphere 6/7 and Storage Area Networks (SANs)
• Familiarity with Microsoft/Google/AWS Cloud
