About the position

We are on the lookout for a DevOps Engineer with a strong background in systems integration to join our innovative team. In this role, you will spearhead the integration of various systems, ensuring smooth and efficient interoperability across our software and hardware platforms. You will be essential in automating and optimizing our system integration processes, ensuring high availability, and implementing scalable solutions. As a DevOps Engineer, you will design and implement systems integration strategies to improve interoperability between disparate systems. Your responsibilities will include automating integration processes, reducing manual efforts, and increasing efficiency. You will collaborate with development and operational teams to ensure seamless integration of new software and systems, troubleshoot and resolve issues related to system integration, and monitor system performance to optimize for scalability and reliability. Additionally, you will coordinate with stakeholders on integration requirements and timelines, making your role crucial in the overall success of our technology initiatives.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Possesses 3+ years of experience in DevOps with a focus on systems integration.
• Strong understanding of Linux platforms (various major flavors).
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or JavaScript.
• Experience with automation tools like Ansible, AWX, or Tower.
• Experience with automation suites such as 'Automate' or 'ActiveBatch'.
• Familiarity with container orchestration platforms, preferably Redhat Openshift.
• Knowledge of hardware integration, including Raspberry Pi development.
• Experience with CI/CD practices.
• Background in cloud services and migration (GCP, AWS, Azure).
• Retail platform/SCM experience is beneficial.
• Experience with SAP/4HANA is a plus.
