About the position

The position involves developing and maintaining both public cloud and on-premises VoIP systems, utilizing various VoIP devices such as SBC (Session Border Controller), SBA (Survivable Branch Appliances), FreeSwitch Server, RTP (Real-time Transport Protocol) Engine, and PSX (Policy and Routing Software Edition). The role requires implementing long-term goals for tooling and automation of operations and maintenance, addressing repetitive and standardized tasks to meet diverse operational demands. The candidate will participate in architecture or program design according to product business requirements and assist in the DevOps implementation of the company's VoIP-related product projects. This includes combining business development efforts to continuously optimize and enhance overall productivity and efficiency. Additionally, the role involves troubleshooting all issues related to VoIP, SBC, PSX, and other related technologies. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring the production platform, conducting alarm and fault analysis, and developing automated operation and maintenance tools to improve the system and service monitoring systems, as well as log management systems. A strong understanding of cutting-edge technology is essential to promote the evolution of DevOps technology and drive technological innovation. The candidate will also be tasked with designing and writing automated tools for VoIP systems.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain public cloud and on-premises VoIP systems.
  • Utilize VoIP devices such as SBC, SBA, FreeSwitch Server, RTP Engine, and PSX.
  • Implement tooling and automation for operations and maintenance.
  • Solve repetitive and standardized tasks to meet operational demands.
  • Participate in architecture or program design based on product business requirements.
  • Assist in DevOps implementation for VoIP-related product projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
  • 5 years of experience with telephone systems and SIP technology.
  • Proficiency in VoIP, RTP, SRTP, Networking, TCP/TLS protocols.
  • Experience with Cloud Platform solutions, specifically AWS and OCI.
  • Familiarity with Linux, Redis, MySQL, Keepalive, LVS, etc.
  • Knowledge of WebRTC, P2P, STUN, and TURN.
