About the position

The DevOps & Engineering Excellence Program Manager at Visa is responsible for ensuring operational excellence and cybersecurity for Commercial and Money Movement Solutions applications. This role involves leveraging data analysis and visualization expertise to support governance, oversee projects, and enhance developer productivity through continuous process improvements. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights and maintain compliance with cybersecurity policies.

Responsibilities

• Utilize advanced SQL and scripting skills to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets.
• Create and manage insightful dashboards and reports using Tableau, PowerBI, and other data visualization tools.
• Develop and monitor developer productivity metrics such as DORA, SPACE, and Flow.
• Ensure accurate Application Service data is recorded, including criticality, accessibility, and data privacy governance.
• Support the management of multiple projects aligned with the organization's key results and objectives.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver meaningful conclusions.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior management, translating complex data into clear insights.
• Monitor OKR progress, develop and maintain detailed reports and metrics, and provide management updates.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices to continuously improve data analysis and reporting processes.

Requirements

• 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD.
• Proficiency in SQL and strong scripting skills (Python, R, or similar).
• Expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau and PowerBI.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience in data analysis, product management, or a related role.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience or knowledge in DORA, SPACE, Flow, and other developer productivity metrics.
• Familiarity with Generative AI technologies.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow and ITIL practices.
