About the position

The DevOps Engineering Manager will lead a team in managing and optimizing cloud infrastructure for a growing Fin-Tech company. This role involves overseeing the design and implementation of secure and scalable cloud environments, mentoring team members, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The position emphasizes automation, performance optimization, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance DevOps practices and support continuous integration and delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, implementation, and management of Azure and AWS cloud environments.
  • Manage and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, providing guidance for career development.
  • Spearhead the creation and optimization of tools for automation and deployment.
  • Establish and enforce data security and privacy policies to protect critical data.
  • Oversee troubleshooting and resolution of scalability and performance issues.
  • Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and evaluate new tools and vendor products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align cloud solutions with IT strategy.
  • Drive ongoing improvements in architecture, infrastructure, and processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in DevOps engineering, cloud architecture, or software engineering roles.
  • At least 2 years in a leadership or management capacity.
  • Proven experience managing a DevOps team with strong mentoring skills.
  • Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or ARM templates.
  • Expertise in Azure and AWS services, including virtual networking, PaaS, and IaaS.
  • Strong scripting skills in PowerShell and experience with web technologies such as JSON, HTML, JavaScript, and YAML.
  • Expertise in CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub, TeamCity, Octopus).
