About the position

The DevOps/Python Specialist at RealmOne is responsible for supporting the integration, automation, and management of various IT systems and network resources. This role involves maintaining existing network and system architectures, providing operation and maintenance services, and enhancing productivity through automation solutions. The specialist will also engage in application development using Python and collaborate on security infrastructure and incident management.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and administer existing network and system architectures.
• Provide operation and maintenance services including release management, upgrades, patches, and problem reports.
• Monitor, maintain, and report on network and systems performance.
• Perform performance tuning, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and benchmarking.
• Provide network administration services including firewall management and tool management.
• Create and maintain network and systems diagrams and administration documentation.
• Support enterprise firewall management and application automation engineering.
• Provide Python programming and application development technical abilities.
• Create, test, and field applications that improve efficiencies.
• Integrate automation solutions with Ansible and Cisco NSO.

Requirements

• Twelve (12) years of applicable experience in relevant fields.
• High School degree + 12 years of relevant work history.
• Associate's degree + 10 years of relevant work history.
• Bachelor's degree + 8 years of work history.
• Master's + 6 years of work history.
• PhD + 2 years of work history.
• Experience developing solutions integrating and extending COTS products.
• Software programming skills, especially in Python.
• Active Security Clearance with appropriate Polygraph.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Ansible and Cisco NSO integration.
• Knowledge of security engineering practices.
• Familiarity with incident management and governance risk compliance.
