As the Senior DevOps Engineer, you will create cloud-based delivery pipelines that assists in building platform software more efficiently. Effective assessing, supporting, and implementing high-quality information technology architecture across different technology entities is essential. You will work closely with cloud & platform architecture, automotive virtualization teams, integration teams, testing teams and IT to support the highly automated development, verification & validation platform, with the target to run fast test cycles on all levels driven by a digitalized development and integration process around the globe. DevOps methodologies like continuous integration, testing and delivery are key. You will drive the product workstreams to support the deployment, testing, including troubleshooting of the DevOps framework.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a technical specialist.
  • Strong hands-on experience with mainline programming and scripting languages such as Shell, Python, Ruby, Perl, Java, .Net, or C++
  • Proven production experience with building and managing release systems, code merging and promotion, and CI/CD workflows and tools
  • Expertise in the primary AWS services and concepts (EC2, ELB, RDS, Route53, S3, VPCs, hybrid networking, security)
  • Experience with revision control source code repositories (Git, SVN, Mercurial, Perforce)
  • Experience working with and delivering using Agile practices
  • University Degree
  • Fluency in English

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with CloudFormation, Chef, Puppet, Salt, or Ansible in production environments
  • Knowledge of IP networking, VPN's, DNS, load balancing and firewall
  • Experience with monitoring and log aggregating frameworks like CloudWatch, Datadog, Splunk, Opentracing, AWS X-Ray, ElasticSearch and APM tools
  • Management of continuous integration servers like Jenkins, Bamboo and TeamCity
  • Experience with development and automated testing
  • Understanding of microservices and distributed application architecture
