About the position

We are seeking a DevOps / Software Configuration Manager for multiple openings. The role involves designing project workflows and pipelines using Jenkins for Continuous Integration and deployment into various Web/Application Servers. The candidate will perform scripting with Shell, Python, Groovy, and YAML, and will work with Jenkins/Hudson to install, configure, and maintain systems for continuous integration (CI) and end-to-end automation for all builds and deployments. Responsibilities include creating automated CI builds, working with web applications based on Docker, Jenkins, and Concourse, and deploying Jenkins for CI/CD. The candidate will also architect, design, and maintain automated build and deployment systems using Jenkins, Subversion, Maven, and Nexus. Additionally, the role involves automating the migration of Jenkins servers to AWS and moving jobs from the SCM Git, analyzing and resolving conflicts related to merging source code for GIT, and configuring SonarQube to test code quality and analyze bug fixes. The candidate will work with the Data governance tool Alation architecture, create data sources, and maintain analytics statistics.

Responsibilities

  • Design project workflows/pipelines using Jenkins for Continuous Integration and deployment.
  • Perform scripting with Shell, Python, Groovy, and YAML.
  • Install, configure, and maintain Jenkins/Hudson for continuous integration and end-to-end automation.
  • Create automated CI builds.
  • Work with web applications based on Docker, Jenkins, and Concourse.
  • Deploy Jenkins for CI/CD and create jobs with DSL plugin.
  • Automate jobs using polling techniques.
  • Architect, design, and maintain automated build and deployment systems using Jenkins, Subversion, Maven, and Nexus.
  • Automate migration of Jenkins server to AWS and move jobs from SCM Git.
  • Analyze and resolve conflicts related to merging source code for GIT.
  • Configure SonarQube to test code quality and analyze bug fixes.
  • Work with Data governance tool Alation architecture and create data sources.
  • Maintain analytics statistics.

Requirements

  • Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology Management, or a related field.
  • Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in lieu of a Master's.
  • 1 year of experience as a Systems Engineer or related occupation.
  • 1 year of experience designing project workflows/pipelines using Jenkins for Continuous Integration and deployment.
  • Experience creating automated CI builds.
  • Experience working with Shell Scripting, Jenkins, Artifactory, Sourcetree, TOAD, Jira, Windows, Bit Bucket, SQL, TFS, XML, Python, Groovy, Confluence, and Linux.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with AWS and PCF.
  • Familiarity with Docker, PgAdmin, and Artifactory.
  • Knowledge of MySQL and PostgreSQL.
