The DevOps/Test Engineer supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will be responsible for identifying process gaps, remediating findings, and authoring proposed solutions to management. This role requires maintaining version control through proficient documentation and working closely with a team of engineers, including system administrators, network engineers, system engineers, integrators, and cybersecurity engineers, to provide high-quality, innovative engineering services to the Government customer. The engineer will also collaborate with system engineers to identify and define requirements for new systems and enhancements to existing systems, ensuring that all solutions meet the necessary standards and specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Identify process gaps and remediate findings.
  • Author proposed solutions to management.
  • Maintain version control through proficient documentation.
  • Work closely with a team of engineers including system administrators, network engineers, system engineers, integrators, and cybersecurity engineers.
  • Provide high-quality, innovative engineering services to the Government customer.

Requirements

  • Experience in DevOps practices and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in version control systems and documentation.

  • Experience working in a collaborative engineering environment.
  • Knowledge of system engineering principles and practices.
