About the position

Hexaware is seeking a highly skilled DevOps Consultant with expertise in Terraform to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in delivering cutting-edge solutions to our clients worldwide. As a DevOps Consultant, you will be responsible for architecting, designing, and automating cloud-native CI/CD workflows and tools, utilizing technologies such as Jenkins, GitLab, and others. You will work closely with technical teams to implement DevOps platforms that accelerate software delivery, employing techniques like Trunk Based Development, Feature Toggles, and Blue-Green Deployment. Your experience in architecting modern web, microservices, and cloud-native distributed systems based on containers, Kubernetes, and AWS cloud will be essential in this role. In addition to your technical skills, you will be expected to have a strong understanding of the end-to-end software development lifecycle and delivery using Agile practices. You will also be involved in deploying applications and provisioning infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools like Cloud Formation and Terraform. Your programming skills in languages such as Groovy, Python, Ruby, Go, or Java will be crucial for developing modules and automating processes. Excellent oral and written communication skills are necessary to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders. Responsibilities

  • Architect, design, and automate cloud-native CI/CD workflows and tools using Jenkins, GitLab, or similar tools.
  • Architect modern web, microservices, and cloud-native distributed systems based on containers, Kubernetes, and AWS cloud.
  • Automate cloud-native technologies, deploy applications, and provision infrastructure.
  • Utilize Infrastructure as Code tools like Cloud Formation and Terraform for deployment.
  • Support technical teams in implementing DevOps platforms to accelerate software delivery.
  • Implement techniques such as Trunk Based Development, Feature Toggles, and Blue-Green Deployment.
  • Participate in the end-to-end software development lifecycle and delivery using Agile practices.
  • Develop modules and automate processes using programming languages such as Groovy, Python, Ruby, Go, or Java.

Requirements

  • 9-12 years of experience in software development and DevOps engineering.
  • Experience with architecting, designing, and automating cloud-native CI/CD workflows and tools.
  • Experience in architecting modern web, microservices, and cloud-native distributed systems based on containers, Kubernetes, and AWS cloud.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code, using Cloud Formation, Terraform, or similar tools.
  • Strong programming skills in multiple languages such as Groovy, Python, Ruby, Go, Java, or similar.
  • Understanding of Linux, networking, and internet principles.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
