About the position

The DevSecOps Architect role at Insight Global focuses on delivering cloud security engineering within a large financial enterprise. The position involves establishing security code elements across multi-cloud environments, particularly with Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE). The architect will evaluate GCP services, integrate security controls with ArgoCD and GKE, and provide guidance on cloud infrastructure security requirements. The role emphasizes automation and the implementation of security capabilities across various cloud components.

Responsibilities

• Deliver cloud security engineering to establish security code elements across public and private multi-cloud environments.
• Evaluate GCP services and assess how GKE functions compare to existing services like EKS with AWS and Hashicorp.
• Provide security and engineering expertise to Cloud Programs, including IaaS, PaaS, and Policy as Code.
• Design and develop Cloud Infrastructure Security requirements across cloud, container, network, and storage tiers.
• Drive automation, zero touch, and idempotency through everything as code across infrastructure and cloud components.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience within Information Security with exposure to multiple domains (Infrastructure, Vulnerability, Data Loss Prevention, End User Security, IAM, etc).
• 2+ years of supporting microservices architecture and understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IAC).
• Exposure and understanding of DevSecOps principles.
• 2+ years experience with OpenShift or Kubernetes Cluster Administration.
• Proficient with Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
• Proficient with Hashicorp or similar Open-source platforms.
• Experience with Docker and/or Open Containers.
• Understanding of public cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
