About the position

Nightwing is seeking a cleared DevSecOps Software Engineer to support the Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) activities with AWS experience. This role involves contributing to the design, development, and deployment of advanced cybersecurity capabilities for a U.S. Government customer on a mission-critical program. The position requires working independently on projects while also collaborating with a team, focusing on the operations and maintenance of DevSecOps capabilities, and supporting the development of system security documentation.

Responsibilities

• Work independently on individual projects while collaborating on larger team projects with minimal supervision.
• Support the development of system security documentation for new and deployed DevSecOps solutions.
• Develop new DevSecOps capabilities and support operations and maintenance of deployed solutions.
• Build, test, and administer Kubernetes clusters, including Amazon EKS and Red Hat OpenShift.
• Assist application teams with onboarding to a Kubernetes platform, including resource requirements and troubleshooting support.
• Translate customer requirements into sustainable technical solutions.

Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen
• Active Secret (S) clearance; must be able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance and DHS Suitability
• 8+ years of applicable experience
• 4+ years of directly relevant experience in AWS, Enterprise Linux, Kubernetes (OpenShift or EKS), Container Development, Ansible or Chef Development, Pipeline Development, Jenkins, GitHub, JFrog Artifactory, SonarQube, Twistlock, Cloudbees, Terraform, CloudWatch, Docker

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working in an agile development environment
• Experience with Ansible, Terraform, or CloudFormation
• Strong experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, Lambda
• Familiarity with database technologies like Oracle or MySQL
