About the position

SAIC is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Cloud Engineer to join the Enterprise Cloud Management Agency (ECMA) Cloud Enterprise Technology Services (CETS) program. This role focuses on evaluating and potentially reinventing how the Army delivers IT services, utilizing data and analytics to meet mission requirements. The position involves designing, deploying, operating, and maintaining secure cloud products and services, supporting the warfighting mission through cloud application migration and business process refinement.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, operate, and maintain secure Cloud products and services.
• Maintain and develop continuous build/integration infrastructure.
• Provide Source Control Management/Documentation and maintain automated CI build processes.
• Support CI/CD tools integration, operations, change management, and maintenance.
• Enable successful release management by moving code from Development and Testing to Staging and Production environments.
• Work closely with software developers, production support, and information security to automate and support infrastructure in cloud-based platforms.
• Apply agile and DevOps/DevSecOps practices to streamline product delivery and operations.
• Continuously identify opportunities to automate and save time.

Requirements

• BS degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Physics or Mathematics.
• 10 years experience designing and implementing information management systems.
• 3 years of experience in technical research and development within the past 5 years.
• 3 years of demonstrated experience in product development within the past 5 years.
• 3 years of experience with provisioning, installation/configuration, operation and maintenance of software and infrastructure-as-code in a DevOps environment within the past 5 years.
• 3 years of experience with commercial CSPs (AWS or Microsoft Azure), containers, server-less architecture, micro-services, web services, and RESTful API design within the past 5 years.
• Must have a Secret clearance.
• Must have a CISSP or CCSP certification.
