About the position

BAE Systems is seeking a DevSecOps Deployment Engineer to develop automated pipelines for cloud environments and support automated build, test, and release deployments. This role is crucial for enhancing user adoption of Analytic Modeling capabilities, contributing to the analytic mission. The position involves hands-on experience with developer productivity, cloud-native applications, and container orchestration, requiring a solid understanding of micro-service architecture and security.

Responsibilities

• Develop automated pipelines for cloud environments.
• Support automated build, test, and release deployments.
• Facilitate user adoption of Analytic Modeling capabilities.
• Work with developer productivity tools and cloud-native applications.
• Manage container orchestration and micro-service architecture.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret clearance, eligible for Top Secret/SCI with Poly clearance.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering plus 8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in a DevSecOps culture with CI/CD for containerized applications.
• Proficiency with helm charts, Docker, and container orchestration tools.
• Understanding of AWS cloud services and scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Ansible, Terraform, or similar tools.
• Ability to deploy enterprise-scale applications to production using cloud infrastructure.
• Strong team collaboration and communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• CAC card with NGA Core experience.
• Active Top Secret/SCI with Poly clearance.
• Security 8570 certification.
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD).
• Experience with GitLab or other CI/CD tools.
• Strong Linux and Networking background.
• Software development experience with Java.
