About the position
The DevSecOps Engineer will work collaboratively with development, operations, and security teams to establish, maintain, and secure continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines. This role is essential in supporting Agile technical platform teams and automating configurations within cloud environments, ensuring secure and efficient software development practices.
Responsibilities
- Supports Agile technical platform team/CICD pipelines implementation and sustainment.
- Develops GitLab CI/CD Pipelines.
- Automates configurations within Kubernetes.
- Supports cloud networking and routing for DNS, TLS, and Ingress/Egress.
- Maintains and hardens Base Images.
- Provides subject matter expertise in application monitoring for customer solution teams.
- Provides subject matter expertise in logging formalities, aggregation tools, and basic metric analysis for customer solution teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or a similar science and engineering discipline OR 4+ years of work experience.
- 4+ years experience with SW development lifecycle (SDLC), cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) DevSecOps (DSO), and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- 4+ years experience with secure development, coding, and engineering practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Travis CI) and practices.
- Knowledge of Helm, Kubernetes, Python, Linux, front-end development, and back-end development.
Nice-to-haves
- Strongly preferred experience with Splunk, Loki, Prometheus, CloudWatch.
