About the position

The DevSecOps Engineer at ITEC is responsible for planning, conducting, and coordinating software development activities, particularly within the OPIR Ground Solution. This role involves designing, developing, documenting, testing, and debugging software while ensuring compliance with software standards and processes throughout the development life cycle. The position requires a strong understanding of DevSecOps practices and tools, as well as the ability to work in a collaborative environment to support mission-critical programs for the DoD and Intelligence community.

Responsibilities

• Plans, conducts, and coordinates software development activities.
• Designs, develops, documents, tests, and debugs software within the OPIR Ground Solution.
• Applies appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle.
• Corrects program errors, prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities.
• Ensures software standards are met.

Requirements

• Ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance required.
• DevSecOps/CI/CD full pipeline tools implementation knowledge/experience.
• Experience with Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or SALT (Config Management code tools).
• Experience with Terraform, HEAT, or Cloud Formation (Infrastructure as code tools).
• Experience with AWS, Azure, OpenStack, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience with GitlabCI, Jenkins, Github Actions, CircleCI, or TravisCI (CI/CD pipeline creation and maintenance).
• Experience in a RedHat Linux environment.
• Knowledge and scripting experience with Ansible/Ansible Tower.
• Familiarity with Agile Methodologies.
