About the position

The DevSecOps Engineer at CGI Federal is responsible for providing technical administration and production support for an ongoing case management project. This role requires strong technical skills and excellent communication abilities to collaborate with the team and clients, ensuring effective system support and issue resolution. The position involves significant operational support and administrative tasks, with a focus on maintaining and enhancing multiple application environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide production and non-production environment support during normal shift hours and occasional off-hours and weekends as needed.
• Coordinate with clients and other support contractors on various administrative and operational aspects.
• Support operational tasks and further development of multiple application environments.
• Assist development teams during Sprints and release cycles, managing deployments and installations.
• Develop and maintain the operational environment, including cloud-based DevSecOps tools, scripting, and infrastructure as code.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of cloud-based operational environments and customer focus.
• Ability to problem-solve in stressful and critical situations.
• Experience with AWS Cloud services and administration of tools above the OS level.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps tool configuration, deployment, and operation.

Nice-to-haves

• AWS certification(s) and/or relevant experience.
• Experience with DevSecOps tools and pipelines.
• Splunk certification(s) and/or relevant experience.
