Global InfoTek, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and skilled DevSecOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in supporting our customers, particularly within the Air Force organization, where customer satisfaction is paramount. As a DevSecOps Engineer, you will be part of a passionate team of high-impact problem solvers, contributing to the development and maintenance of secure and efficient software delivery processes. In this position, you will leverage your deep understanding of agile and DevSecOps methodologies to create and maintain comprehensive documentation for various implementations. You will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining containerized applications, ensuring that they are robust and scalable. Your role will also involve building and maintaining Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for a large enterprise environment, which includes hundreds of applications. This requires a solid working knowledge of source version control, build/release tools, and CI/CD methodologies. Additionally, you will work with cloud systems and architectures, including Amazon AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure, and will need to be familiar with Linux environments and scripting languages such as Bash and Python. Your extensive experience in developing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code (CaC) using tools like Jenkins, Packer, Terraform, and Ansible will be crucial. You will also have development experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm, and will be responsible for configuring and using CI/CD automated pipelines, particularly with Jenkins. Responsibilities
- Support customers by developing and maintaining secure software delivery processes.
- Create and maintain documentation for implementations.
- Develop, test, and maintain containerized applications.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for a large enterprise environment.
- Work with cloud systems and architectures such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
- Utilize Linux and scripting languages for various tasks.
- Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code (CaC) using tools like Jenkins, Packer, Terraform, and Ansible.
- Configure and use CI/CD automated pipelines, particularly with Jenkins.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in DevSecOps or related field.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- Deep understanding of agile and DevSecOps methodologies.
- Experience in developing, testing, and maintaining containerized applications.
- Working knowledge of source version control, build/release tools, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with cloud systems and architectures (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure).
- Familiarity with Linux and scripting (Bash and Python).
- Extensive experience developing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code (CaC) using tools like Jenkins, Packer, Terraform, and Ansible.
- Development experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm.
Nice-to-haves
- Familiarity with microservice architectures (REST, JMS, AMQP).
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Experience with Istio.
- Ability to work on high-performing teams supporting multiple projects and personnel.
