Piper Companies is seeking a TS/SCI Cleared DevSecOps Engineer to support a United States Department of Defense (DoD) program based out of Fort Belvoir, Virginia. The role is critical in ensuring the continuous integration, delivery, and deployment of cloud technologies, container orchestration, and security measures. The DevSecOps Engineer will work closely with various stakeholders to enhance the security and efficiency of the development processes within the DoD framework. In this position, the engineer will be responsible for supporting backlog component upgrades and feature request planning and design. This includes deploying DevOps and security tooling specifically tailored for the DoD program, rolling out CI/CD pipelines, and collaborating with DoD customers to ensure that the deployment processes meet the required standards. The engineer will also focus on optimizing Kubernetes and containerization efforts, implementing backlog component upgrades, addressing feature requests, fixing bugs, and managing Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M) items. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background and be adept at working in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that all deployments are secure and efficient. The role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining high standards of security and compliance in all DevSecOps practices.
