About the position

The DevSecOps Engineer role at Advanced Network Solutions involves designing, developing, and implementing a Continuous Delivery Platform that integrates various DevSecOps tools to enhance the Navy's CEC capabilities. This position requires collaboration with Digital Technology, Cyber Security, and Development Teams to create a secure and efficient software factory, working primarily onsite in St. Petersburg, FL.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the design, analysis, and implementation of the DevSecOps tools ecosystem.
  • Implement security and cyber assurance controls.
  • Create automation scripts to enhance efficiency and consistency.
  • Contribute to platform roadmaps.
  • Develop a SaaS-based delivery model for software engineering teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide supportive leadership.

Requirements

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years of relevant experience or an Advanced Degree with minimum 5 years of experience, or 12 years of relevant experience without a degree.
  • Current DOD Secret Security Clearance is required.
  • Deep skill and expertise in Kubernetes administration.
  • Experience in deploying and configuring Atlassian tools such as Bitbucket, Jira, and Confluence.
  • Experience in deploying and configuring Artifactory/Xray or equivalent tools.
  • Experience in writing automation scripts using languages like Bash, PowerShell, or Ansible.
  • Good understanding of software package management (docker/podman, pip, conan).
  • Experience in identity management and RBAC using Active Directory.
  • Experience in managing cloud infrastructure, including virtual machines and automation.
  • Experience in Linux operating systems, preferably RHEL.
  • Knowledge of VMware ecosystem and terminology.
