About the position

We are seeking a skilled DevSecOps Engineer to join the Product Team. In this position, you will onboard new products onto the CI/CD Pipeline and work closely with platform teams to maintain them. The successful DevSecOps Engineer should have strong knowledge of the product being supported as well as the platform. This role requires a proactive approach to implementing DevSecOps practices and ensuring that security is integrated into the development process from the outset. The qualified DevSecOps Engineer must have an active TS/SCI with a Full Scope Polygraph security clearance, as this position involves working with sensitive information and systems. This position is 100% onsite in Reston, VA, and requires collaboration with various teams to ensure the successful deployment and maintenance of applications. As a DevSecOps Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing DevSecOps practices using tools such as Jenkins and GitLab. You will lead the requirements analysis, design, modification, development, and implementation of software programming applications. Your role will also involve designing, modifying, developing, documenting, and implementing software programming applications and operating systems. Additionally, you will develop, test, and maintain containerized applications with a focus on security, ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of security and performance.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Must have an active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience providing DevSecOps implementation using Jenkins, GitLab or similar tools
  • Working knowledge of source version control, build/release methodologies, and software build process
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
