About the position
The Senior DevSecOps Engineer at Lockheed Martin is responsible for integrating security practices within the software development lifecycle. Responsibilities
- Maintain development infrastructure and perform system administration functions to support development efforts.
- Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines using automation tools.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to address security concerns.
- Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments to identify security vulnerabilities.
- Stay updated with the latest security threats and DevSecOps trends.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to information security.
Requirements
- 5 - 10 years of professional experience in a related field.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
- Proficient in coding, scripting, and automation tools.
- Strong knowledge of cloud technologies, containers, and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Deep understanding of security principles, practices, and tools.
- Familiarity with Linux operating systems.
- Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
Nice-to-haves
- Familiarity with GitLab and GitLab pipelines.
- Understanding of the security accreditation process and ATO process.
- Experience with Nexus repositories and VMware.
- Certificate Authority and Domain Name Server experience.
