About the position

The DevSecOps Engineer Senior position at Lockheed Martin involves supporting the DevSecOps infrastructure for the Long Range Hypersonic Weapon (LRHW) project. This role is crucial for enhancing productivity through the implementation of systems software and automation tools, contributing to critical national missions in aerospace and defense. The position requires a strong background in Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) methodologies, along with experience in Linux operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Support the DevSecOps infrastructure for the Long Range Hypersonic Weapon (LRHW) project.
• Create and implement systems software to improve productivity in the workplace.
• Analyze data to enhance existing systems and processes.
• Develop and manage digital pipelines (CI/CD pipelines).
• Document existing environments and create technical documentation.

Requirements

• Fundamental knowledge of DevOps/DevSecOps processes and tools.
• Demonstrated knowledge of continuous integration / continuous deployment methodologies.
• Demonstrated experience in Linux Operating Systems.
• Interim Secret Clearance required, Final Secret clearance preferred.

Nice-to-haves

• Integration of embedded software.
• Demonstrated experience in Shell scripting.
• Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, RKE2, Singularity/Apptainer).
• Experience with virtualization such as VMWare.
