About the position

The Software Engineer position at Lockheed Martin focuses on supporting the DevSecOps infrastructure for the Long Range Hypersonic Weapon (LRHW) program. This role involves creating and implementing systems software, analyzing data to enhance existing systems, and increasing workplace productivity through automation tools for developing digital pipelines. The position requires a strong background in Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) methodologies, along with experience in Linux Operating Systems.

Responsibilities

• Support the DevSecOps infrastructure for the LRHW program.
• Create and implement systems software.
• Analyze data to improve existing systems.
• Develop and manage digital pipelines (CI/CD pipelines).
• Document existing environments and create technical documentation.

Requirements

• Fundamental knowledge of DevOps/DevSecOps processes and tools.
• Demonstrated knowledge of continuous integration / continuous deployment methodologies.
• Demonstrated experience in Linux Operating Systems.
• Interim Secret Clearance required, Final Secret clearance preferred.

Nice-to-haves

• Integration of embedded software.
• Demonstrated experience in Shell scripting.
• Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, RKE2, Singularity/Apptainer).
• Experience with virtualization such as VMWare.
