About the position

As a DevSecOps Engineer within the Ground Infrastructure Team on the NextGen Geo OPIR Program at Lockheed Martin, you will play a crucial role in supporting Security Administration efforts. This position involves working in a dynamic, agile environment, collaborating with a high-performing team to integrate, test, and deploy complex systems. You will be responsible for implementing security measures, managing vulnerabilities, and ensuring compliance with RMF controls while continuously pursuing improvement and adapting to changing customer requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Integrate into a small, high-performing Product Team led by a Scrum Master and Product Owner
  • Support daily Scrum Meetings, Team Demos, and monthly Staff Calls
  • Plan and execute STIGs, automation development, vulnerability management, and security tool implementation in accordance with RMF controls
  • Work under very general supervision in support of larger team goals
  • Support ad hoc tasking and stretch assignments as outlined by Program Technical Leaders
  • Relentlessly pursue continuous improvement
  • Interpret complex system requirements
  • Collaborate with System Administrators, DevSecOps engineers, and software and integration engineers to integrate, test, and deploy complex systems
  • Participate in working groups and technical exchange meetings

Requirements

  • 9+ years of professional experience
  • BS degree or above
  • TS/SCI Security Clearance required prior to start
  • Flexibility and determination to learn new skills
  • Self-driven, ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
  • CompTIA Security+ Certification

  • Great interpersonal skills and demonstrated effective communication working in a team environment
  • Ability to lead technical teams as the prime technical contact
