About the position
The DevSecOps Engineer will play a crucial role in building data pipelines and AI/ML-based analytics capabilities for US Government customers. This position requires an active Top Secret/SCI security clearance and Full Scope Polygraph, and involves working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment to deliver quality code and innovative solutions. The engineer will focus on converting applications to cloud-native environments and supporting various systems while ensuring compliance with IT policies.
Responsibilities
- Build data pipelines and AI/ML-based analytics capabilities for US Government customers.
- Convert environments and applications to be cloud-native using Kubernetes.
- Work with Linux operating systems, specifically RockyLinux.
- Support cloud to edge DevSecOps solutions.
- Maintain a variety of systems and ensure compliance with IT policies.
- Collaborate with team members to design solutions and deliver quality code.
Requirements
- Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance + Full Scope Polygraph required.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Experience with build automation tools (e.g., Jenkins / Gitlab CI).
- Experience with deployment automation tools (e.g., Docker/Podman and Kubernetes).
- Experience working in Agile processes for full life cycle development.
- Experience hosting containerized mission applications.
- Experience developing automated configuration management processes and pipelines.
- Experience delivering production-ready infrastructure and solving complex problems.
- Experience monitoring hardware and software deployments.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience deploying software to US Government secure enterprise environments.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related technical field, or equivalent experience.
