About the position

The DevSecOps Engineer role at TD Bank is a highly technical position focused on supporting, securing, managing, and deploying solutions that enhance the bank's software delivery initiatives. Responsibilities

  • Support, secure, manage, and deploy solutions for software delivery initiatives.
  • Act as a liaison with business stakeholders to understand strategy and execution.
  • Implement, test, and validate application security controls through automation workflows in CI/CD.
  • Recommend services and tools to enable developers to use security components effectively.
  • Simplify automation that integrates security with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Assist in prioritizing vulnerabilities identified in code and promote quick remediation.
  • Research and learn new security tactics and techniques to assess risk and implement controls.
  • Enrich DevOps architecture with security standards and best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Graduate degree in a relevant field.
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in DevSecOps or related roles.
  • Strong understanding of information security, cloud infrastructure, and software development.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with agile workflows, including Scrum and Kanban.
  • Understanding of containerized compute (e.g., Docker) and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes).
  • Experience with Nexus IQ, GitHub Advanced Security, SonarQube, Terraform, Jenkins, and Ansible.
  • Familiarity with AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Scripting capabilities in Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
