About the position
The DevSecOps Engineer role at TEKsystems focuses on integrating security practices within the software development lifecycle (SDLC) while leveraging strong software development and engineering skills. This position is remote and offers a contract with the potential for permanent employment, emphasizing the need for expertise in cloud technologies and CI/CD systems.
Responsibilities
- Develop customized CI/CD systems in Jenkins and Concourse, with a preference for Concourse.
- Design and integrate automated security controls within the existing SDLC.
- Validate that security controls are being met using CSPM tools such as Wiz and Prisma.
- Utilize strong custom Python knowledge for various development tasks.
- Implement cloud configuration using Kubernetes and Terraform.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years of related work experience.
- Strong custom Python knowledge, including the use of lookup functions and dictionaries.
- Experience with cloud configuration, specifically Kubernetes and Terraform.
- Expertise in Cloud Native Engineering.
Nice-to-haves
- Preferred cloud experience with Prisma and GCP.
