About the position
The DevSecOps Engineer position at TEKsystems is a remote contract role that focuses on integrating security into the software development lifecycle (SDLC) while leveraging strong software development skills. The role requires expertise in cloud technologies and the ability to design and implement automated security controls within CI/CD pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Develop customized CI/CD systems in Jenkins and Concourse, with a preference for Concourse.
- Design and integrate automated security controls in existing SDLC processes.
- Validate security controls using Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) tools such as Wiz and Prisma.
- Utilize strong custom Python knowledge for various development tasks.
- Implement cloud configuration using Kubernetes and Terraform.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years of related work experience.
- Strong custom Python knowledge, including the use of lookup functions and dictionaries.
- Experience with cloud configuration, specifically Kubernetes and Terraform.
- Expertise in Cloud Native Engineering.
Nice-to-haves
- Preferred experience with Prisma and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
