About the position

CACI is seeking a talented DevSecOps Engineer to join our EW-ISR group within the National Security and Innovative Solutions Sector. This role involves establishing new agile teams to modernize Navy software delivery through the creation of a CI/CD pipeline for software updates in various environments. The position focuses on fostering continuous improvement and supporting national security missions through innovative technology solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines for software delivery.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, focusing on quality, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Support cloud infrastructure and distributed systems design.
  • Implement container orchestration and automated deployment solutions.
  • Manage release processes and ensure effective troubleshooting of systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related technical field or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in a DevSecOps role.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance and U.S. citizenship.
  • Experience with OCI containers and runtimes.
  • Effective troubleshooting skills in OS, pipeline, and networking.
  • Experience with Container Orchestration platforms like Kubernetes or Open Shift.
  • Solid understanding of storage, networking, PKI, and administration.
  • Experience with Linux Administration, including shell scripting and security.
  • Familiarity with automation frameworks such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Perl.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Cloud Service Providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Passion for automation and continual learning.
  • Experience managing CI/CD toolchains.
  • Familiarity with git and version control best practices.
  • Software development experience.
  • Strong background with Linux Systems (RedHat/CentOS).
  • Knowledge of Identity and Access Management (SAML, OIDC).
  • Experience with Infrastructure Automation (CloudFormation, Terraform).
